UAE envoy to Washington meets Congressmen
Washington D.C. - UAE Ambassador to the United Sates Youssef Mana' Al-Otaiba met Congressman Charles B. Rangel, Representative of New York's 15th Congressional District and Ways and Means Committee Chairman.
The meeting discussed trade and other issues of mutual concern. They also agreed on launching an initiative to promote communications between ambassadors of countries of the region to the US and Congressmen.
Al-Otaiba also met Congressman Pete Visclosky, Representative of Indiana's 1st District and Chairman of the House Energy and Water Development Appropriations Subcommittee. The meeting discussed ways to finding alternative energies, UAE's peaceful nuclear energy programme and issues of mutual concern.
