US Pursuing Psychological War On Iran: Official

Tehran, Dec 12, IRNA – A senior aide of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Mojtaba Samareh Hashemi, said that the US attempt to launch an Internet site entitled virtual embassy is in line with the US psychological warfare against Iran. Samareh Hashemi made the remarks at the end of cabinet meeting in Tehran on Sunday. “The US will do anything against the Islamic Republic of Iran with the help of its allies in line with its animosity towards Iran over the past decades,” he added. Hashemi noted that such measures are carried out in line with propaganda against Iran and distracting its public opinion from the US’ failures in different fields. “The US measures will bear no fruit due to the vigilance of Iranian nation, especially the Iranian youth,” Samareh Hashemi further noted. He pointed out that due to the performance of the US across the world, including Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq, the US government is one of the most hated among different nations./end
