Sharjah Ruler approves Dh11.6B for the emirate's general budget 2012

Sharjah, Dec 29, 2011 (WAM) - Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi has approved a Dh11.6B budget for the local government departments and authorities for the year 2012. Director General of the central Finance Department of Sharjah Walid Al Sayegh said that the budget is drawn up in line with the directives of the Ruler to focus on the welfare of the citizens through the development of infrastructure, housing, social utilities, support for economy, strengthening of educational process, cultural enhancement and provision of the means of comfort. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
