Development minister: we will prepare a new development plan

ISTANBUL (A.A) - December 29, 2011 - Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz has said that they would prepare a new development plan in 2012. A new period will begin in development as of 2014 under this plan, said Yilmaz who spoke at Turkish Exporters' Assembly meeting in Istanbul on Thursday. We see this within the scope of a 10-year perspective and as a study which will detail 2023 vision more, he added. Noting that currently they were implementing the ninth development plan, Yilmaz said that a new development period would begin as of 2014, adding that efforts for this new period would start in 2012. Yilmaz noted that 500 billion USD of export strategy would be an important part of the development plan.
