Turkey draws 11.5 bln USD of international direct investments in ten months of 2011

ISTANBUL (A.A) - January 5, 2012 - Turkey's economy minister said on Thursday that Turkey drew 11.5 billion USD of international direct investments in the first ten months of 2011. Zafer Caglayan said international direct investments in Turkey were up 84 percent year-on-year in the first ten months of 2011 and reached 11.5 billion USD. "It is important for us to draw more entrepreneurs and risk capital fund to Turkey," Caglayan said during a meeting in Istanbul.
