Turkish fm: Iran ready for talks on nuclear program

ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has said that Iran was ready to resume talks on its nuclear program.
During my meetings in Iran, Iranian officials agreed to resume talks on nuclear program, said Davutoglu in a joint press conference with Japanese Foreign Minister Koichiro Gemba in Ankara on Friday.
Noting that Turkey hosted the last round of talks on Iran's nuclear program last January, Davutoglu said that the process had been pursued only by exchange of letters since then.
Davutoglu said that Iran was determined to resume nuclear talks, and he expressed hope that the talks would begin soon with mutual will and goodwill.
Turkey was ready to make every type of contribution to this matter, said Davutoglu.
Turkey had assumed a role in nuclear negotiations between Iran and P5+1 countries.
