Asean Foreign Ministers To Discuss Community Building, Regional Integration

SINGAPORE, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Asean foreign ministers are set to discuss its community-building and regional integration efforts, including the implementation of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity and the Initiative for Asean Integration at their two-day retreat in Siem Reap, Cambodia, beginning Tuesday. In a statement, the ministry of foreign affairs said it would also discuss the follow-up to the outcome of the 19th Asean Summit and Related Summits, which were held in Bali, Indonesia last November. The foreign ministers will also exchange views on regional and international issues. Singapore will be represented by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K. Shanmugam. -- BERNAMA
