Body Of Drowned Malaysian Student To be Flown Back Tuesday

By Ahmad Fuad Yahya JAKARTA, Jan 17 (Bernama) -- The body of a Malaysian student who drowned in northern Sumatra Sunday is to be flown to Malaysia Tuesday, according to a Malaysian embassy official. Malaysia's education attache in Indonesia, Ludinata Misnun, said Monday the body of Sethubathi Rao Nagalingam would be flown back on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH861 scheduled to depart Polonia International Airport in Medan at 8.50 am and arrive at KL International Airport at 10.55 am. From KLIA, the body will be taken in a hearse straight to his house in Taman Pasir Putih, Ipoh, Perak, he said. "The family has agreed that no post mortem be conducted on the body," he said. Sethubathi, 20, who had recently registered for a dentistry course at Universiti Sumatera Utara (USU), Medan, drowned at the Dua Warna Sibolangit waterfall in Brastagi. The student was dragged by currents in the incident which occurred at about 2 pm after he had gone to the waterfall with fellow students to spend the weekend holiday. His body was taken to Adam Malik Hospital in Medan. -- BERNAMA
