Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The disabled will receive this year non-refundable aid of MNT 165 million. This is a result of the best projects selected by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Labor. The aid's size is higher than the previous year's assistance one by MNT 95 million. ** ** ** In conjunction with the Year of Supporting Family Development, announced by the government, the aimag's administration has decided to grant loans of MNT 836 million to people. The loans will be granted to herders, businessmen and cooperatives under an interest rate of 0.85 per cent with a period of up to two years. ** ** ** The aimag's administrative bodies have received about 14 thousand letters with people's views and complaints. it is a decline against the previous year. The most of the letters have been replied, but the letters on ownership of lands for private houses will be tackled in April and May in 2012. The largest number of letters went to Bayan-Ondor soum, a majority of them were about responsibilities of apartments' owners associations (AOA) and urban furnishing services. ** ** ** The aimag intends to sell reserved meat from Friday. In accordance with contracts, the meat will be sold in ten commercial centers at the “Mongema”, “Erdenet Express” and “Sooton” companies. One kg of beef is MNT 3,700, of mutton--MNT 3,500. The companies have reserved 600 tons meat. ** ** ** The Erdenet Mining Corporation's administrative office has established a contract with the Corporation's Trade Unions. To be valid from 2012 through 2013, the contract has 116 clauses in 12 chapters and regulates labor relations of the Corporation's workers. For example, the additional salary for nighttime has increased to MNT 1,500; caring children aged up to three years mothers will get money of MNT 200,000. Moreover, newly retired will have one-time allowance equal to 12-times higher of the basic salary. The compensation's size has increased for those who lost working ability due to occupational ailments. ** ** ** A spokesman of the state selected team for archery V.Sumyasukh has said the team aims to be qualified to compete in the London 2012 Olympic Games. For the time being, the archers are having training under auspices of the Erdenet Mining Corporation.
