SPEAKER RECEIVES PROPOSAL ON ANNULLING POST OF FIRST DEPUTY PREMIER

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Thursday afternoon, the Premier S.Batbold submitted a proposal to the Speaker on reforming the composition of the cabinet. It has been done after a consultation with the State Head. In conjunction with reforming the government's composition by annulling/withdrawing the post of first deputy premier and government member, several legal documents have been drawn up. These are, for example, draft laws on changing the government's composition and on government, and a draft amendment to the 43rd parliamentary resolution on approval of state administrative organization's system and general scheme. Due to withdrawing the post, authority over the Unfair Competition Regulatory Authority and the Center of Standardization and Measurement will be transmitted to the Deputy Premier, and the Intellectual Property Office and the General Authority for State Registration--to the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, according to the drafts.
