"ROSTAING MONGOLIAN TROPHY" TO RUN HERE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The first ever “Rostaing Mongolia Trophy 2012” international adventure race will take place from August 26 through September 2, 2012, the infomongolia.com website reported Tuesday. This event will be co-organized by the French Rostaing Group and the Vietnamese Viet Adventure with the support of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism. It is expected to be held in Tsambagarav national park in Bayan-Olgii aimag with a participation of some 200 competitors from European and Asian countries. The purpose of the event is to give the participants opportunities to enjoy a beauty of the nature and its harmony with human being, and to experience the world being apart from all outside intervention. The race under a named “Sports Nature, Tourism” requires various skills like effectiveness, intelligence and experience, and it prohibits using motorized vehicles and getting assistance from outside. Every team consists of four members who are expected to start the competition with a horseback riding, on the second day camel riding expedition, on the third day glacier trekking and on the final day they will be competing in mountain bike hiking and boat racing. For the time being, it has been announced that the media team from France, Vietnam, Singapore and Hong Kong would arrive in Mongolia for the competition to air it through Internet worldwide. B.Khuder
