105 People Including 21 Foreign Women Detained For Drug Tests

GEORGE TOWN (Penang, Malaysia), Jan 28 (Bernama) -- A total of 105 people, including 21 foreign women, were detained for drug tests in an integrated operation at three entertainment centres early Saturday. Deputy Timur Laut police chief Supt Ahmad Bakhtiar Kassim, who led the operation, said all of them were taken to Timur Laut police headquarters to undergo urine tests. "The women aged between 20 and 30. Three of them were from Vietnam, four from China and 14 from Indonesia. The rest of the detainees are locals," he told reporters here. Ahmad Bakhtiar said 50 policemen from the Central police station here were also involved in the operation which began at midnight and ended at 3am Saturday. -- BERNAMA Malaysia
