Singapore, Italy Sign Mou On Defence Cooperation

SINGAPORE, Feb 13 (Bernama) -- Singapore's Ministry of Defence (Mindef) and Italy's Ministry of Defence have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Defence Cooperation. In a statement here Monday, Mindef said the MoU facilitates defence cooperation in areas such as defence policy, military education and training, research and development as well as logistics. The MoU was signed by Permanent Secretary for Defence Chiang Chie Foo and Italian Under Secretary of State for Defence, Dr Filippo Milone. -- BERNAMA
