PM Najib Receives Courtesy Call From Sudan's FM Ali Ahmed Karti

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 21 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak on Tuesday received a courtesy call from Sudan Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti. Karti, who is here on a four-day visit, arrived at the Prime Minister's Office at 9am. He is acccompanied by Sudan's Ambassador to Malaysia, Nadir Yousif El-Tayeb, and its Director of Asia Department in the Foreign Ministry, Sawsan Abdelmajeed. This is Karti's first visit to Malaysia to further enhance bilateral relations. On Tuesday evening, he is scheduled to meet Petronas president and chief executive officer Shamsul Azhar Abbas.
