China Mobile Chooses R&S Test Equipment

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 (Bernama) -- China Mobile Group Terminal Co. Ltd has chosen the R&S CMW500 wideband radio communication tester from Rohde & Schwarz to perform protocol conformance tests on time-division long-term evolution (TD-LTE) terminal equipment. "China Mobile plays a leading role in TD-LTE. We are pleased that China Mobile Group Terminal has chosen the R&S CMW500 from Rohde & Schwarz for its protocol conformance tests," said Anton Messmer, director of the mobile radio testers subdivision at Rohde & Schwarz in a statement. The company said the CMW500 can also cover RF (radio frequency) or application tests and is an ideal solution for all phases in the development and production of mobile terminals. Rohde & Schwarz, based in Munich, Germany, is an independent manufacturer of test and measurement equipment for mobile radios and radio communications. --BERNAMA
