KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23 (Bernama) -- Malaysian keirin riders Josiah Ng and

the London Olympics.
Malaysian National Cycling Federation deputy president Datuk Naim Mohamad
said the decision would be announced on April 16 after the duo had competed in
the World Track Cycling Championships in Melbourne from April 8-4.
"As each country can only send one rider (men's category) to the Olympics,
the two have do their utmost to get selected," he told told reporters here
Wednesday.
Earlier, he had witnessed the presentation of a scholarship by the
Sime Darby Foundation to national woman rider Fatehah Mustapa at the Sime Darby
Convention Centre, Bukit Kiara here.
The scholarship worth RM400,000 will enable the cycling star to continue her

at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. The duration of study is six
years.
The scholarship was presented by Sime Darby Foundation trustee, Tan Sri Dr
Wan Mohd Zahid Mohd Noordin. Also present were Fatehah's parents, Mustapa Kassim
and Esah Isa.
Fatehah, 23, said she was very happy to receive the scholarship and pledged
to balance her studies and cycling in order to achieve excellence in both.
She will also be representing Malaysia in the women's keirin event at the
London Olympics.
National chief coach for cycling John Beasley said he expected her to do
well in London as her performance was getting better and better.

win the gold medal in the elite category at the 32nd Asian Cycling Championship
(ACC) held at the Kuala Lumpur Velodrome here, in Malaysia recently.
