MONGOLIA ATTENDS ITB BERLIN 2012

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by D.Tsogtbaatar, the Minister of Environment and Tourism is participating in the 46th ITB Berlin, a leading trade show for the worldwide travel industry, which was held on March 7-11 in Berlin, Germany. This event has attracted 110,000 trade visitors, of whom more than 30% come from abroad including Mongolia's biggest entities such as the Mongolian Airlines (MIAT), the EZNIS, the Mongolian Airlines Group, the Great Genghis, Juulchin World Tours, Mongolian Travel LLC, and Mongolia Samar Magic Tours. In scope of the visit, the Minister D.Tsogtbaatar has held meetings with Dirk Niebel, the Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany; Ernst Burgbacher, the Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology; Raimund Hosch, and the CEO of the Messe Berlin LLC, to sharing issues on the bilateral ties and collaboration in the tourism sector. They discussed issues on having Mongolia participate in the ITB Berlin 2014 as a partner and successful results of Mongolia in participation of the ITB Berlin 2012 as a cultural partner. Moreover, D.Tsogtbaatar addressed a measure named "Mongolia with Deel" that was organized on March 8 in the Kudamm district, Berlin. B.Khuder
