Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportswoman O.Gundegmaa has won silver medals in the Wroclaw Shooting Grand Prix tournament held on March 7-11 in Wroclaw city, Poland. O.Gundegmaa has grabbed the silver medals at the contests of 10 m air pistol and 25 m pistol. Another Mongolian O.Olziinyam has taken 4th place in the women's 25 m pistol event with 383 points, and thus satisfied a condition of international master of sports title. The shooters will compete an international tournament to run on end of March in Berlin, Germany. ** ** ** A State Honored Sportsman B.Naranbaatar has won a silver medal in the Takhti Cup international wrestling tournament took place on March 10-11 in Tehran, Iran. This tournament has brought together wrestlers from Iran, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia. The Mongolian wrestler B.Naranbaatar won the medal in the men's 55 kg contest after he was defeated by a Russian wrestler at the final round. Another Mongolian wrestler B.Monkhbat did not medal at the same weight category contest. As the team results, the Iranian wrestlers grabbed the biggest number of gold medals. The host country was followed by the Russian team that finished in the second place with 47 points; and the Kazakh team finished third with 40 points. The winner team received a cash prize of USD 6,000, and the second and third place holders received USD 4,000 and 3,000 respectively. B.Khuder
