JAGAM Invites Malaysians To Apply For Post-Graduate Scholarships In Japan

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- The Japanese Government, in collaboration with the Japan Graduates Association of Malaysia (Jagam), is offering scholarships to eligible applicants for master's or PhD courses for the April 2013 enrolment. Jagam president Phua Lee Kerk said Malaysians who were under 35 years of age as of April 1, 2013 and degree holders with 16 years of formal education or undergraduates who were in the final year at their respective universities were eligible to apply. In a statement here Monday, he said applicants should ensure their completed forms were submitted before 4pm on March 30, adding that application forms could be download from www.jagam.org.my. During the term of the scholarship, the recipient will have a monthly allowance of approximately 143,000 yen while university fees and tuition will be exempted and a round-trip ticket also provided.
