Turkish PM Departs For Tehran

Ankara, March 28, IRNA – Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan departed Seoul, capital of South Korea, for Tehran on Tuesday evening. IRNA, quoting Turkish state News Agency “ Anadolu”, reported that Erdogan at the end of the International Nuclear Security Conference in Seoul departed the city for Tehran for a 2-day official visit. Erdogan's wife, daughter as well as ministers of foreign affairs, energy, economy, environment and urban development are accompanying the prime minister in the visit. Turkey’s Prime Minister Office in a statement declared that Erdogan will pay an official visit to Iran on March 28-29, 2012. The statement said that the prime minister is scheduled to meet with Iranian senior officials and discuss international, regional and bilateral issues with them. He will also inaugurate Turkey’s Cultural Center in Tehran./end
