Iran's FM Returns Home

Tehran, March 28, IRNA – Foreign Minister, Ali-Akbar Salehi, who was in Dushanbe to attend the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan (RECCA) returned home on Tuesday afternoon. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, the Fifth Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan was held in Dushanbe on March 26-27, 2012, and delegations from more than 40 countries and 35 international and regional bodies and organizations participated in the conference. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Foreign Minister Salehi in the opening day of the conference outlined Iran’s stances and view points as well as proposals concerning settling Afghanistan problems. Outcomes of the fifth RECCA conference was published in a statement. In the statement, Iran’s assistance and hosting Afghan refugees were praised and Iran’s readiness to host the sixth RECCA conference was declared./end
