Informed Source: Iran, 5+1 Can Negotiate In Syria

Damascus, April 4, IRNA – An informed Iranian source in Syria told IRNA here on Tuesday that Syria can be among one of the options to host negotiations between Group 5+1 with Iran. The source, who wanted to be anonymous, told IRNA that all conditions are prepared in Syria. He continued that according to the views of security-political experts and by considering acceptable political and security situation in the country and its position in international and regional equations, Syria is ready to host this round of negotiation. On the sidelines of meeting between Iran and Turkey senior delegations last Wednesday in Tehran, Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said that time for the negotiation has been set and the two sides have reached an agreement in this issue and consultations for determining venue of the talks are in progress./end
