BOXERS TO COMPETE FOR OLYMPIC RIGHTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Boxers of the national selected team have left for Kazakhstan to compete in the Olympic qualification tournament that kicked off on Wednesday in Astana city. The team has comprised N.Togstsogt (52 kg), D.Otgondalai (56 kg), Z.Enkhzorig (60 kg), B.Tuvshinbat (69 kg), T.Chuluuntomor (75 kg), S.Erdenebayar (81 kg) and T.Erbolat (-91 kg). This tournament will give rights to 25 boxers and two additional rights in accordance with a joint decision of the International Olympic Committee, the International Boxing Association (AIBA) and the Asian Boxing Association. The qualification tournament has brought together boxers from Iraq, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Syria, China, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Uzbekistan, India, the Republic of Korea, the Philippines, Pakistan and Thailand.
