Sr. Cleric: Iran Plays Key Role In Global Equations

Tehran, April 11, IRNA – Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution to IRGC Hojatoleslam Ali Saeedi said on Tuesday that Iran plays a leading role in regional and global equations. According to the Public Relations Department of IRGC, Saeedi made the remarks in a meeting with top commanders and officials of IRGC in Tehran. It is not possible to ignore the significant status of the Islamic Republic in global developments, he said. All have reached to the conclusion that without Iran most of problems facing the region will remain unresolved, he said. The waves of Islamic awakening sweeping the region and fall of four dictators showed the significance of developments last year, he said. Mass presence of the Iranian people in the country’s nationwide parliamentary elections truly demonstrated their in dealing with all developments, he said./end
