Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The women's university team for volleyball grabbed a silver medal in the Women's University Volleyball Asian Championship which finished last weekend in the “Buyant-Ukhaa” sports complex. The competition attracted teams from Mongolia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia. At the gold medal contest, the Mongolian team was beaten by Thailand's university team. A bronze medal went to the team of Hong Kong that defeated the university team of Kyrgyzstan. The Mongolian university team was coached by R.Tamir, B.Kherlen, and Jong Yung-ha, an expert from the South Korea. ** ** ** An international master of sports E.Khaliunbold took 4th place in the first round of the Asian Motocross Championship that ran last week in Puerto Princesa City, the Philippines. He has competed in the 125 cc category, and followed his opponents from Thailand and Japan. Apart of E.Khaliunbold, Mongolia was represented by Kh.Monkhbolor who took the 6th place in the 85 cc category. B.Khuder
