UAE Federal National Council to take part in IPU meetings in Geneva
Abu Dhabi, Oct. 11, 2008 (WAM)--The Federal National Council (FNC) delegation will take part at two sessions: 119 and 183, of the Inter -Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva from Oct. 13- 15.
The FNC delegation requested adding of an emergency item in the IPU agenda, on the role of parliaments on dealing with the current global financial crisis and its effects on the national economies. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
