ABOUT PREPARATION FOR NAT'L GREAT FESTIVAL

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its meeting held on Monday, the Deputy Premier and head of the Organizing commission for preparing the National Great Festival M.Enkhbold gave tasks to related people to intensify the preparation and complete it in this week. Obligations were given to the officials to ensure food safety in services to be provided during the celebrations near the Central Stadium and the Khui Doloon Khudag horse-race arena as well as traffic security. The luminal arts for the city will be improved as well. The rule of the national wrestling has been altered pursuant to a resolution of the cabinet, and a measure will be taken to present the alteration of the rule to wrestlers and coaches. The meeting mentioned that a construction work of a new road to the horse-race arena is being done slowly so that the Deputy Premier criticized the weakness of the construction work and then ordered the officials to ensure free movement on the road prior to the celebration, continuing the construction work. A preparation has been completed for an opening ceremony of the festival, and a financial matter has been tackled, said the organizers. A test performance will be staged on July 6-8, they added. The meeting also finally approved a program of the National Great Festival dedicated to the 806th anniversary of the Great Mongolian Empire and the 91st anniversary of the People's Revolution. Information on the festival's events will be delivered to people. Aside of that, car-parking near the Central Stadium has been expanded for 4,500 vehicles. In addition, 500 food spots will work around the Central Stadium, and over 150 food spots-near the horse-race arena. B.Khuder
