PRESIDENT ISSUES DECREE FOR IMPROVING LIVING OF MONGOLIANS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, the President Ts.Elbegdorj gave a direction to the cabinet by his decree to create a friendly environment for Mongolian citizens to live in healthy and safe environment, to ensure the sustainable healthy development of youths and families, to improve the population's growth and the gene pool, to intensify the supplementary state policy on accommodating the needs of the work force, to enhance its activities and improve the legal environment. Within the decree, some measures have been reflected in the direction such as to protect the health of mothers and infants and to refine all economic and social systems will be provided for their growth. Firstly, the measures are reflected in the direction to grant allowance of MNT 100 thousand to parent or legal guardian that has given birth or adopted a child until the child reaches two years old, to involve them in the housing program as primary and to extend certain discounts for them. Other measures have been reflected to annually place money in the budget for establishing a nursing kindergarten for young children based on population density, growth and other studies, implementing it continuously, to augment the salary for nursing teachers and to renew and improve their fringe benefit system. In addition, the direction has many measures to create a friendly legal environment for Mongolian citizens, residents, natives, their families and children living, studying and abroad to return home, to realize works of providing Mongolians and ethnic groups with an opportunities of being employed, living and residing in Mongolia through some phases. The cabinet was obliged by the State Head to provide a working group on developing an additional integrated state policy with all conditions to implement the above objectives. B.Khuder
