WOODBALL PLAYERS TO COMPETE IN RUSSIAN BURYATIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Mongolian woodball players will compete in the 4th open international tournament. It will run July 26-29 in Ulan-Ude, Russia. The Mongolians have been officially invited by Mr. V.Batodorjiyev, the governor of Dzhidinsky District and president of the Buryatia's Woodball Federation. The events co-organized by the government of Russian Buryatia Republic, Administration of Dzhidinsky District and the Woodball Federation of Buryatia are expected to attract 180 players from Mongolia and from Russian Buryatia. The Mongolian comprises 35 players from Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan-Uul and other aimags, all winners of the national championships and the Asian Beach Games. The tournament will run in the men's and women's individual and mixed categories. The winner is to be awarded a medal, Cup and certificate, the winner team--a Cup and prizes. Mongolia's Woodball Federation intends to select top ones from this tournament so that they participate in the Sports and Art International Festival of World Mongolians which will take place August 27-30 in Chinese Inner Mongolian Ordos.
