Four construction workers killed in predawn blaze
SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Yonhap) -- Four people were killed on Saturday in a predawn fire that engulfed a prefabricated building set up as a makeshift residence for construction workers, police said.
The victims suffocated in their sleep when the fire broke out at 5:30 a.m. in the
northern part of Seoul, police said. They were reportedly construction workers,
but their identities have not been fully revealed.
The fire was put out just 14 minutes after it started. The exact cause of the
blaze is under investigation, according to police.
