S.NYAM-OCHIR BECOMES STATE HONORED SPORTSMAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The title of State Honored Sportsman was awarded on Friday to an international master of sports S.Nyam-Ochir.
It is awarded to the judoist for winning a bronze medal in the London 2012 Olympic Games in judo pursuant to a decree of the State Head.
The same day, state prizes were awarded to coaches and medical doctors who worked together with Olympic athletes of Mongolia. Accordingly, the title of State Honored Coach was awarded to Sh.Bat-Orshikh, a coach at the national selected team; G.Enkhbayar, a general coach at the “Genco” club; Sh.Erdene-Ochir, a senior expert of the Physical Culture and Sport Department of Bulgan aimag; and D.Batmonkh, a coach at the Mongolia's Olympic Boxing Federation.
In addition, the title of State Honored Cultural Figure was awarded to J.Otgontsagaan, the secretary-general of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MonNOC); and the State Honored Medical Doctor title--to Ch.Nasanbat, a head of the Sports Medical Service at the State Department for Physical Culture and Sport.
The Order of Sukhbaatar was bestowed upon Ts.Amarjargal, a boxing coach of the “Erch” boxing club at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); the Red Flag Order of Labour Merit--upon A.Gantulga, a boxing coach of the “Aldar” sports club at the Armed Forces and others.
The Polar Star Order and the Honorary Medal of Labour went to other foremost coaches, medical doctors and experts.
