DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF INNER MONGOLIA VISITING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs B.Batkhishig has held official talks with Mr Pan Yiyang, the Vice Chairman of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. Pan Yiyang started on Thursday an official visit to Mongolia at invitation of G.Tenger, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Mr Pan was received by Foreign Minister L.Bold, Vice Foreign Minister G.Tenger and by D.Terbishdagva, the Deputy Prime Minister. At all meeting, the sides exchanged views on matters such as supplying electricity from China for a short period for the Oyu tolgoi project and regulating the border trade of mining products in accordance with international standards and norm. Then, the sides agreed to set up a working group to support investments from China for the great construction of border checkpoints and the Zamyn-Uud economic free-zone, and to construct a 1.1 km autoroad between Zamyn-Uud and Erlian. As the sides have agreed, the countries will organize an annual meeting of the Permanent consultative working group within the cooperation between the Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and the People's Government of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region of the PRC.
