Iran can play effective role during its presidency over NAM: Bahraini FM

TEHRAN,Aug.29(MNA) – Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said that Iran can play an effective role during its presidency over the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). The Bahraini official made the remarks on the sidelines of the foreign ministerial meetings of the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran, which opened on Tuesday and close on Wednesday. The presidency of NAM will be handed over to Iran at the meetings of heads of state and government, which will be held on Thursday and Friday. “I favorably view Iran’s chairmanship of this international conference and believe that the Islamic Republic of Iran is able to play an effective role during its presidency over the movement,” he said.
