ACTION PROGRAM OF GOVERNMENT DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Regular cabinet meeting discussed Action program of the Government for 2012-2016. The program consists of five parts which are "Mongolian with job and income", "Healthy Mongolian", "Educated Mongolian", "Mongolian in secure environment" and "Mongolian exercising freedom". The program reflects certain proposals set in the "Mongolian" program of the Democratic Party, the "Life" program of the Civil Will Green Party and the program "Five revolution to save Mongolia" designed by the "Justice" coalition of the MPRP and Mongolian National Democratic Party. For instance, within the "Mongolian with job and income" goal, a budget and monetary policy will be implemented to ensure basic needs of the population and develop self-sustainable and competitive economy. Besides, activities will be carried out to promote employment, increase salaries, remove comprehensive social security policy, and target the social security policy at children, elders and disabled individuals in need. The Government sees its priority goal in lifting the state-private sector partnership up to a new level and creating a favorable business climate. The "Healthy Mongolian" goal is charted to provide every citizen with a possibility to enjoy high quality medical treatment, diagnosis and services. "Educated Mongolian" sets a goal to impart convertible education meeting international standards within the country and develop the Mongolian culture, tradition. sports and physical culture renowned in the world. The Government will take effective measures to ensure safe environment for citizens. In this light, the "Mongolian in secure environment" goal targets to consolidate socio-economic development policy with the green development policy through ensuring the economic growth and utilizing natural resources in nature-friendly way. "Mongolian exercising freedom" goal targets at ensuring the transparency of the government policies and activities, ensuring the responsibility and control as a main principles of the government activities, replacing state services by bureaucracy- and corruption-free public service.
