Z.ENKHBOLD MEETS U.S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE REPS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Speaker, Z.Enkhbold received Mr Myron Brilliant, a senior vice president of International Affairs, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, on September 10. The Speaker hoped that the U.S Chamber of Commerce will more contribute to developing of economic ties, for the Chamber's representatives have been working from this year. Mongolia considers the USA as its Third neighbor, and this policy will not change during the new parliament and government's terms, he underlined. He is glad that Mongolia is continuing to cooperate with the USA for spreading peace, security, democracy, human rights values and development in the world, region and other places, he said. M.Brilliant agreed witha fact that the two countries' relations are good in political level but is is time to focus on developing of the economy and trade ties, for this, "we have opened our Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar." The USA want to cooperate not only in the mining, but also in other spheres such as investing the education, infrastructure and information technology, he said. The Speaker replied that the new government for reforms gives foreign investors chances, for instance, the Mongolian side considers that a representation of the USA should be in the Tavan tolgoi project, "in general, we aim to remove all obstacles in the business."
