PREMIER WORKS IN KHOVD

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag started his working tour to western aimags on September 23 from Khovd aimag. Following one of the cabinet's goals to create indoor markets in all aimags, the Premier has visited a commercial center in the aimag's center to see people's livelihood and purchasing power. Meeting with the retail sellers, he said he is seeking possibilities of erecting a modern commercial center able to give convenient and comfortable work places, "and I do understand the problems the sellers face working all day outside and trying to earn for life, so it has become urgent to construct a modern commercial center.” This center with its 600 leasers, who pays MNT 30-45 thousand every month each, provide not only Khovd aimag, but also all western aimags with foods and consumer products. The Premier promised to take all measures for erect the indoor market in Khovd in two years, and said Ulaanbaatar is expected next autumn to open a vegetables commercial center supplied by provinces.
