CHILDREN TO RECEIVE ALLOWANCE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ Allowance will be given to children aged 0-18 from the Human Development Fund (HDF) in accordance with the cabinet decision made on Saturday at its regular meeting. The Minister of Population Development and Social Welfare S.Erdene has been ordered to issue a resolution on granting the allowance and to regulate the related measures. He has been allowed to organize a tender to select a commercial bank that will grant the allowance. An obligation has been given to Ch.Ulaan, the Minister of Finance, to finance the source for the allowance and to allot MNT 154.8 million as the expenses for printing forms, running trainings and working out necessary software. According to the 2011 report from the National Statistical Committee, Mongolia has 967.9 thousand children aged 0-18, for them 58.1 billion togrog are required this year.
