MONEY TO BE ALLOTTED TO RECOVER DAMAGE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Saturday, the cabinet issued a resolution on allotting money for some aimags that have suffered from natural disasters. Accordingly, the Finance Minister Ch.Ulaan has been allowed to allot from the governmental reserved fund MNT 816 million as the repair to the damage caused by the natural disasters until this July to Arkhangai, Zavkhan, Orkhon, Selenge, Sukhbaatar, Khovd and Khovsgol aimags. Related Ministers and governors of these aimags have been obliged to spend the money appropriately and to report on the actions to the National Emergency Management Agency in the fourth quarter of this year. In June-July this year, many families lost houses in strong winds in Arkhangai and Khovsgol aimags, some energy sub-stations were damaged and high-voltage lines were destroyed in heavy rains in some soums of Zavkhan, Orkhon, Selenge, Sukhbaatar and Khovd aimags.
