PRESIDENT AT GENERAL DEBATE OPENING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian President Mr.Ts.Elbegdorj and accompanying him officials were received by UN Secretary-General Mr Ban-Ki-moon together with other high bodies. Then, the General debates were opened. Ts.Elbegdorj met with Mr Barak Obama, the President of the USA, and the US first lady at the dinner hosted by Mr Obama on September 24. The same day, the leader of Mongolia met with the Prime Minister of Austria, Presidents of Egypt, Hungary, South Africa, South Sudan, Republic of Bulgaria, Finland, Serbia, as well as with the Emir of the State of Katar to discuss the high level meeting “Rule of law”. The Mongolian President also met Mr Vuk Jeremi, a president of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, with UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki-moon, a Director-General of UNESCO, the NATO Secretary-General, a Secretary-general of Inter-Parliamentary Union, a president of the European parliament, the Prince of Luxemburg, and Prime Minister of Thailand.
