TS.ELBEGDORJ RECEIVES MS AUNG SAN SUU KYI

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj has received in New York city Ms Aung San Suu Kyi, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate and chairwoman of the National League for Democracy, a political party of Myanmar. The leader of Mongolia congratulated Ms Suu Kyi on big successes in bringing the freedom and democracy to Myanmar. Mr Suu Kyi's struggle for the free society and human rights has given an enthusiasm to many countries who are strengthening a democracy, the President said. Ms Aung San Suu Kyi expressed satisfaction with sharing with Mongolia experience regarding the democratic revolution, and appreciated several initiatives of Mongolia within its presidency of the Community of Democracies, that contribute to a good future of humankind.
