KOICA TO GIVE ONE MILLION DOLLARS FOR PROJECT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In frames of the food safety national programme, a project will be implemented named “Safety of Mongolian animal products, control labs capacity improvement". For its realization, the Korean International Cooperation agency (KOICA) will give a financing of one million US dollars. An agreement on it was inked on September 28 by the temporary acting State secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Agriculture Kh.Zoljargal and by Resident representative of the KOICA to Mongolia Mr Choi Heung Yul. The project is supposed to help strengthen the lab technologies that diagnose a safety of the agriculture raw materials, to determine a quality and safety of livestock origin products, and to increase eventually export revenue from livestock products.
