PRESIDENT MEETS MPP LEADERS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The President Ts.Elbegdorj received on Monday representatives of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) including O.Enkhtuvshin, chairman of the MPP; and G.Zandanshatar, the MPP secretary-general in conjunction with a situation raised in recent days in political frame. The President mentioned that the state actions must run permanently in accordance with laws, and the principles of the Constitution shall not be breached. Then he proposed to the MPP's authorities some principal proposals. First, the State Head expressed his readiness to initiate and submit draft amendments to parliament in order to abolish the current disputed situation based on the matters that met principal agreements. He hoped that his proposed issues will be accepted by parliament. The President considered that a draft 2013 state budget must be adopted in time because this is a vital matter of the people's living and actions. "Before, we used to approve the state budget by December 1 of each year, but now the term of approval reduced by two weeks in accordance the amendments. In other words, the 2013 state budget shall be adopted in November 15," he stressed, adding that he will recommend the Prime Minister and the Speaker focus a great attention to this matter. The MPP leaders said they supported the State Head's suggestions principally and also they need to discuss it within group members. B.Khuder
