BANGKOK, November 29 (TNA) - Metropolitan police have prepared tightened security measures along the route and at sites where events are scheduled to be held on His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 85th birthday anniversary, which falls on December 5. Deputy metropolitan police chief Police Major General Samroeng Suwannapong has ensured that the tightened security measures have already been in good place, including at the Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall, where a mass audience will be granted by the beloved Thai monarch at 10am on December 5. Police Major General Samroeng said that a dress rehearsal of Thailand's annual military parade and oath taking by government officials to show loyalty and respect to the royal Thai institution have been set to be held on December 2, as part of overall events to be organized in Bangkok on His Majesty the King's birthday.
