Daewoo International Q3 net soars 28 pct on brisk exports
SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Yonhap) -- Daewoo International Corp., a South Korean trading company, said Monday its third quarter earnings jumped 28 percent on-year thanks to solid exports.
Net profit reached 29.6 billion won (US$20.5 million) in the three months to
September, compared with 23 billion won a year earlier, the company said in a
regulatory filing.
Sales surged 70 percent to 3.45 trillion won with operating profit soaring 76.4
percent to 50 billion won, it said.
