8th Int'l Water, Waste-water Exhibition Opens In Tehran

Tehran, Dec 29, IRNA – The 8th International Water and Waste-water Exhibition attended by 255 Iranian and 15 foreign companies opened in Tehran International Permanent Fairground Friday. Deputy Energy Minister Ali Zabihi was among the attendees during the inaugural ceremony. The exhibit will seek to present the latest achievements in the fields of water and waste-water, introducing the capabilities of the companies involved in the field, preparing ground for interaction among the Iranian and foreign firms and introducing the projects currently being implemented. Identifying and supporting the researchers and creating a chance for competition to promote quality of the services are among the other objectives of the ongoing event. Companies from Germany, Italy, France, Turkey and Canada are participating in the exhibition. Holding seven specialized meetings to be attended by the senior directors of the water industry and two educational workshops are among the peripheral programs of the exhibit which will end on December 31./end
