HH the Emir Tours Art of Travel Exhibition

Doha, January 17 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani on Thursday toured the (Art of Travel) Exhibition organized at the ALRIWAQ DOHA Exhibition Space, located next to the Museum of Islamic Art. HH the Emir was briefed by curators of the exhibition organized by the Orientalist Museum of the Qatar Museums Authority, on the displayed Orientalist historical pieces that shed light on European-Ottoman relations during the early sixteenth century. During the tour, HH the Emir watched a number of paintings, drawings and a selection of decorative art, in addition to a range of art pieces and sculptures dating back to that era. (QNA)
