Doosan Infracore wins 457.8 bln won military order

SEOUL, Oct. 30 (Yonhap) -- South Korean construction equipment maker Doosan
Infracore Co. said Thursday that it has signed a deal with the nation's defense
acquisition agency to provide 457.8 billion (US$352.7 million) worth of armored
vehicles.
Under the contract with the Defense Acquisition Program Administrator, Doosan
Infracore will deliver the vehicles by December 2010 starting February next year,
the company said in a regulatory filing.
Doosan Infracore, a unit of Doosan Group, said it will push for exports of the
vehicles to countries in Southeast Asia, and Central and South America.
