LG CNS to set up development center in China

SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- South Korean systems integration company LG CNS Co.
said Sunday it will establish a global development center in Shenyang, China, to
fast-track its efforts to tap into the global market.
Under an agreement signed with the Shenyang municipal government, LG CNS plans to
complete the center early next year in order to provide real-time services for
its overseas customers, the company said in a statement.
The envisioned development center will employ 500 Chinese workers by the end of
next year, LG CNS said.
It will be the company's third overseas development center. LG CNS currently runs
development centers in Beijing and Bangalore, India.
LG CNS has seven overseas subsidiaries, the most among South Korean information
technology service companies. The LG CNS subsidiaries have a combined workforce
of around 1,000.
