U.S. Ambassador Opens Fair On Legal Studies For Indonesians

Jakarta, April 16 (Antara) - US Ambassador to Indonesia Scot Marciel opened a Mater of Law (LL.M.) fair for Indonesians at @america on Monday, the US Embassy here said on its official website on Tuesday. Hosted by the US Embassy and EducationUSA, at @america and designed for Indonesians interested in pursuing legal studies in the United States, the conference provided attendees the opportunity to meet law faculty and admissions representatives from nine US law schools and learn about the various LL.M. degree programs on offer. Jakarta was selected as one of the three Asian cities, in addition to Tokyo and Seoul, to participate in this first-of-its kind LL.M. Fair. Some of the law schools represented included American University, University of California-Berkeley, St. John�s University, University of Minnesota, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Law school representatives were extremely pleased with the large turnout of interested students and expressed a strong desire to return to Indonesia.
