S. Korea rout Singapore 24-0 in U19 women's football
SEOUL, Nov. 5 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's under-19 women's football team bulldozed past Singapore by a whopping score of 24-0 in an Asian championship match in Malaysia, the sport's regional governing body said Wednesday on its Web site.
South Korea, who have now captured 61 goals and conceded none in their four
group-phase matches, saw four of their players score hat tricks in the Tuesday
match, and virtually secured a spot in next year's knock-out stage, the Asian
Football Confederation said.
South Korea, who have collected 12 points so far, will face Myanmar on Thursday
for their last match in Group A.
